My absolute favorite in the dwarf group. Smaller than, more wide than tall with upright form. bright green spring with profuse seeds red in fall.Upright seeds indicate a Shirasawanum cross which provides better cold tolerance. Growing successfully in zone 5 Pennsylvania for many years.
