Ledburiana cooperi-Zebras Quill

From South Africa, Zebra's Quill produces tiny neon pink to purple flowers that resemble miniature Scillia or Allium blossoms in early spring. The fleshy quill shaped foliage is dark green with deep velvet purple stripes. To 6" in height, the foliage keeps it's color all summer, then turns into a contrast of copper and mauve in the fall making this little bulb a great interesting companion for even the smallest of container gardens. Spreads readily and divides easily, needs some shade.
