The name fits this quaint tiny seven lobed deeply divided, flat based, sharply toothed leaved Matsumarae tree. this slow growing but hardy tree grows in to a compact bush. It's spring color is light orange-red with contrasting bright green mid-veins. It's color develops into a rich green then into shades of strong gold.
