A.j. Yama Kagi is a new tree in the nursery I purchased on a whim. I found the large leaves with long serrated lobes and lime green spring color intriguing. Impressively huge leaves are a light-green in the summer, and flaming burnt orange-red in the fall typical of the Acer japonicum. Vigorous grower, tall and wide form, a striking figure in the garden landscape. Excellent cold tolerance.
