Planter Bowls are just the right proportion and size for creating container gardens and they are beautiful! Their low, wide form is perfect for the shallow fibrous root system of the maples making access to the roots easy for root pruning while providing ample soil and a generous area for companion plants. I love working with the trees in these containers because both are long lived giving us the opportunity to age and mature together. Made of spun polyethylene, unaffected by extremes in temperature and virtually indestructible, with the appearance of stone at less than 25% of the weight, these polyethylene containers allow you to consider the needs of the trees without the deterioration of the container being an issue.
