An incredible craftsman and collector of reclaimed wood has created these beautiful clear heart redwood boxes and troughs with the detail and design you would normally see in furniture making. The quality of the redwood will never be found again. some of the raw materials were collected from structures in San Francisco originating in the 1880s. Because of the quality of the wood and fine craftsmanship these boxes are excellent containers for the maples. I have had them on my deck for more than 10 years, and through several root prunings. They have held up nicely and are exquisitely beautiful.
